At Henderson Metal, giving back to the community is not just a responsibility—it’s a core value that drives us. We are proud to support a variety of initiatives that strengthen and uplift our local community. Our involvement spans multiple areas, including sponsoring curling events, youth baseball teams, and ringette programs, all of which foster teamwork, leadership, and community spirit.
One of the causes closest to our hearts is the Alzheimer's Society. As a proud sponsor of their Walk, Coffee Break events, and a supporter of their raffle ticket sales, we are honored to contribute to the fight against Alzheimer's and support the invaluable services they provide to individuals and families affected by this disease.
Additionally, our commitment to giving back extends to our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, where we help provide safe and affordable housing for families in need. Whether through sports, service, or social causes, Henderson Metal is dedicated to making a positive difference. We proudly support youth sports programs, including hockey, ringette, and baseball, helping to provide opportunities for young athletes to grow, learn, and excel both on and off the field or ice.

Sault Area Hospital Foundation aims to raise “$50k in a day” for GivingTuesday
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (November 25, 2025) – On “GivingTuesday” (Tuesday, December 2), Sault Area Hospital Foundation and Henderson Metal are partnering up to raise funds for a new TeraRecon Server for Sault Area Hospital (SAH). Every donation made, starting on GivingTuesday, will be matched up to $25,000, thanks to Henderson Metal – but they need community support to reach the goal!
GivingTuesday, celebrated the Tuesday following “Black Friday”, started in 2012 as the world’s largest generosity movement. On GivingTuesday, people are encouraged to create positive change. This day celebrates that everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts. The generosity of Henderson Metal will honour the spirit of the day, ensuring each gift to Sault Area Hospital Foundation goes twice as far!
Gifts to Sault Area Hospital Foundation on GivingTuesday will be doubled to fund the purchase of a TeraRecon Server. The TeraRecon Server is a high-powered analysis tool that helps doctors see medical images with more detail, faster, and from multiple angles. For example, when a doctor examines a CT scan of the heart, the server can automatically generate detailed 3D images or even create real-time moving videos showing how the heart is functioning. This advanced capability supports quicker, more precise diagnoses and can reduce the need for more invasive procedures. The server costs approximately $50,000, and is solely funded through community donations to Sault Area Hospital Foundation. With the support of Henderson Metal and our community, this equipment could be fully funded in just one day!
